Headed up by Moustafa Awad and Tessa McLean, Aquastars’ team of dive guides, instructors, boat crew, chefs and office crew have many years of experience working with divers in the Red Sea. Our Captains are registered and approved by the Red Sea Governorate, insured and licensed.
We look forward to meeting you personally but in the meantime here is a little introduction to who we are.
Moustafa Awad
Moustafa is the day to day director and co-owner of Aquastars. He is a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer (#611121) and has been working in diving for over 30 years. Moustafa designed all our boats. His mission is “to teach the world to dive.”
Tessa McLean
Tessa is co-owner of Aquastars, a PADI Divemaster (#252276), a qualified freediver and wild swimmer. Whether in the Red Sea, or the UK taking part in English Channel swims, Tessa is rarely found out of the water. She is also known as “Mama Dolphin”.
Khaled Moustafa
Aquastars are proud to have Moustafa Awad’s son join our Team of PADI Diving Instructors.
He may be one of the youngest Instructors in the Red Sea but he has been diving all his life and knows all the best bits of all the best sites in the Red Sea to share with you.
