BECOME A DIVE PROFESSIONAL

If you love scuba diving, have been diving for a while and are looking for your next challenge, perhaps it is time to become a professional.  The first professional level of Dive Certification, PADI Divemasters work all over the world as Dive Guides, assisting with diver training and helping supervise dive activities.  If you really enjoy diving yourself, you’ll enjoy helping others to dive even more.

The Divemaster course is extensive and can be completed as an intensive programme over around 8 days, or as an Internship over a longer period or perhaps over several holidays. You will fine-tune your dive skills, to professional level, deepen your knowledge of dive theory and gain lots of hands-on experience. We will give you opportunities to work with Instructors and other Divemasters to assist on courses, conduct guided dives and supervise dive groups in and out of the water. We will also revise and practice your rescue skills and make sure you have the fitness and stamina to operate as a dive leader.

To enrol in the Divemaster Course you must be a PADI Rescue Diver or equivalent, have completed Emergency First Response Primary and Secondary Care training in the last 24 months, be at least 18 years old and have logged at least 40 dives.  You will also need to have your Medical Statement signed by a doctor.

You can learn more about the PADI Divemaster Course on the PADI Website.

If you are interested in taking this step and becoming a professional diver, get in touch and we can work together to help you become a PADI Divemaster. We are particular keen to hear from anyone interested in doing a Divemaster Internship who can speak several Western or Eastern European languages.
