LEARN TO DIVE AND TRY DIVING

If you have never dived, and would like to give it a try we can get you started quickly with our Discover Scuba Diving programme.  If you know you would like to get your qualification, you can jump straight in with the PADI Open Water Course. Both are taught by our qualified, insured and experienced PADI Instructors who will always make sure you are comfortable in the water and take you to dive sites that are ideal for beginner divers.

PADI Discover Scuba Diving

The PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience includes some basic dive theory, a short session in shallow water to learn some simple skills followed by a carefully supervised dive on a shallow reef with an instructor.  You’ll get to experience breathing underwater for the first time, then have a chance to explore one of our beautiful, shallow and safe dive sites and identify your first fish and marine life. If you get the bug, this experience can be used as credit towards your PADI Open Water Diver course.

PADI Open Water Diver

The most recognised and respected scuba diving certification in the world is the PADI Open Water Diver course. To become a certified diver, you will take part in shallow water or pool sessions, to make sure you have mastered important skills such as clearing your mask and finding your regulator, and know how to be a good dive buddy.

You’ll also have some reading or classroom sessions to do, to learn more about the equipment, how your body adapts to diving and the environment you’ll be diving in.  Most importantly, you will also make four open water dives with an instructor to develop the confidence you will need to dive independently with a buddy after certification.

To enrol in PADI Open Water Diver, you must be at least 10 years old, have adequate swimming skills and be in reasonably good health. We can advise if you have any queries. If you prefer not to spend time in the classroom while on holiday, you can even get started at home with PADI’s E learning materials.
