As well as Scuba Diving Holidays, Aquastars were one of the first in the Red Sea to offer Freediving Day Trips and Liveaboard Safaris. Experienced at choosing sites suitable for freedivers, helping you set up shot lines for freedive training and briefing you on the best way to explore sites without scuba, we’d love to welcome your freediving group aboard. Red Sea Rules apply, so depth is limited to 40m.
Liveaboard Safaris for Freedivers take place on our fully-equipped, comfortable dive boats with cosy cabins, showers, large sun decks for yoga and pre-dive stretches and plenty of space to set up and put on your freediving gear. Our excellent chefs cater well for all types of diets, and are used to cooking for vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free diets.
As a Freedive Instructor or Club, you can book our boat for the day or a week to run your own courses, confident that we’ll be able to take you to the sites you need for what you are trying to achieve, and help you set up easily. We are used to working with Freedivers from many different agencies including PADI, AIDA, RAID and SSI Freedivers. If you’re coming from Europe, the UK or further afield, we can help with airport transfers and organisation of any land-based trips within Egypt. Our boats can sleep groups of between 10 and 20 divers.
If you would like to learn to Freedive, and do not have an instructor with you, we may be able to offer Freedive Training on request, but do ask us in advance.
With conservation at the heart of what we do, we will help you explore the Red Sea with your fins or monofin, whether your goal is to work on your depth and technique, play with dolphins, or simply meander in and out of colourful pinnacles with your camera.
